About Us
Irish Fest Camden is a family-friendly festival celebrating Irish and Celtic heritage in Camden, SC. The event was conceived by festival founder and director, Rebekah O'Hara. The festival is an all-volunteer event and fundraiser. Proceeds from Irish Fest Camden benefit Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (OLPH) and its campaign to restore its historical structure located in downtown Camden. In 2021, the Irish Fest Camden Community Grant was established with a portion of event proceeds awarded to organizations that devote their efforts to healthcare, children and family welfare, animal welfare, education, community enrichment, and primarily provide support services within Kershaw County. Application period is open until February 28, 2024.
Irish Fest Camden is organized and executed by a talented and committed group of volunteers from Kershaw County and the OLPH Community, who bring a fun and exciting Irish celebration to our community each year.
